All files must comply with the images and media policy.
  • Images uploaded to the Old School RuneScape Wiki must be used in a mainspace article. If an image is for personal use, such as on your userpage or signature, please do not upload it here.
  • Still images should be in the .png format, animations in the .gif format, and audio files in the .ogg format, unless taken from an official Jagex source.
  • File names must be descriptive. Names such as runescape.png, untitled.png, or 28-11-2024-22:35.png are not acceptable. The format suffix should be lowercase.
  • Please select a license from the dropdown when uploading an image. This will tag the image with the appropriate license for the selected image type.
  • After an update, the maximum screen brightness got increased above its old maximum. For consistency, please use a screen brightness similar to its old maximum, which looks as follows in the display settings:
