Template documentation
This documentation is transcluded from Template:Editnotice/doc. [edit] [history] [purge]

This template creates a consistent look for editnotices (MediaWiki manual, Wikipedia). It may be used by administrators to create a per-page notice (for example, for page-specific instructions) or notices across entire namespaces.

The name of the editnotice for the current page can be found by appending ?action=edit&uselang=qqx to the URL. If you are creating an editnotice for a .css or .js page, the content model must be changed to wikitext via Special:ChangeContentModel, otherwise you will not be able to save the page.

Usage

{{Editnotice|title=Optional title|Example text}}
