Calculator:Herblore/Potions
This calculator contains the cost/xp as well as the profit of making finished potions from grimy herbs, clean herbs, and unfinished potions. If you are interested in calculating XP/hour, you can assume that 2,400 potions (optimal banking speed) or 2,200 potions (average banking speed) can be made per hour, using unfinished potions and secondary ingredients.
Unfinished potions to finished potions
This calculator shows the cost/xp for creating potions from unfinished potions and adding secondaries.
The following assumptions are used:
- All materials are purchased from the Grand Exchange unless noted.
- Unfinished weapon poisons and antidotes cannot be traded and are excluded in this calculator.
- Potions are decanted and sold as 4 doses for profit values
- ^ A torstol potion (unf) (4,641) can be used in place of a torstol.
- ^ Profit includes the two leftover empty vials when making super combat potions.
- ^ Verify the real-time price as GEMW price used here has has limitations on how quickly the price can adjust after large price shifts.
Clean herbs to finished potions
This calculator shows the cost/xp for creating unfinished potions from clean herbs and adding secondaries.
The following assumptions are used:
- All materials are purchased from the Grand Exchange unless noted.
- ^ Guthix rest uses cup of hot water (478) instead of vial of water.
