Template:PlainCiteDevBlog
Usage
This template exactly like Template:CiteDevBlog, with two exceptions. First, it is not a reference template in the sense that it does not create footnote-styled references. Instead, it creates the same text that {{CiteDevBlog}}
would as a non-reference. This is desirable if a certain Dev. Blog is the source of the majority of an article, as having the same reference at the end of every sentence. Second, it does not have the "name" parameter, as this only applies to footnote-style references.
{{PlainCiteDevBlog|author=|url=|title=|blogdate=|notes=}}
author
The author of the blog found in large letters at the top. Include "Mod" prefixes, such as "Mod Mark" instead of simply "Mark".
url
Make sure to include the full URL, including the http://.
title
The title of the Developers' blog, found in large letters at the top of the page.
blogdate
The date the blog was added which appears right after the author's name.
Standard parameters
The following parameters are standard across all citation templates.
